Cheryl Pereira (She/Her), Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Another Way Financial Therapy Services
I transitioned into this work after 15 years in the accounting field because I saw a real gap in support for people struggling with their financial well-being. Traditional financial services often focus on improving literacy and technical skills, but rarely address the emotional patterns and behaviours that drive our financial decisions.
As a financial therapist, I help people untangle the beliefs, habits, and emotions that shape their relationship with money. Whether you're navigating financial stress, relationship conflict, compulsive spending, excessive saving, or shame around debt, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface.
My approach blends practical financial strategies with therapeutic insight to help you move from avoidance and anxiety toward more peace of mind. Please reach out if you have any questions about what financial therapy is and how I can help at cheryl@anotherway.ca.
