MoonSage Psychology

It’s hard to feel at home in yourself when you’ve spent years just trying to get by.

Maybe you’re exhausted from trying to show up “normally” every day. You may be masking, pushing through, or trying to keep up even when you’re running on empty. Your emotions can feel overwhelming, your mind won’t stop analyzing everything, or you find yourself caught in cycles of anxiety, shame, burnout, and self-criticism. You may understand why you feel the way you do but still struggle to feel different.

I work primarily with adults navigating Trauma, ADHD, Autism, and other Neurodivergent experiences. Together, we can make sense of the patterns that have developed over time, explore what matters to you, and find ways of moving through life that work with your brain and nervous system rather than against them.

Therapy with me is warm and collaborative, with room for curiosity, honesty, and humour. We might explore your thoughts and emotions, notice what is happening in your body, understand patterns in your relationships, or work with the parts of you that have learned to protect you. My hope is to help you understand yourself more deeply, feel more connected to who you are, and build a life that feels more like your own.

My approach integrates EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, mindfulness, and parts-informed work. My practice is also neurodivergent-affirming, 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming, Trans-affirming, kink-affirming, sex-positive, and trauma-informed.

I’m a mixed White and Anishinaabe Indigenous therapist with lived experience of ADHD. These experiences shape the way I show up in therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect for the different ways people think, feel, relate, and make sense of their experiences. I approach your experience without assumptions and with the belief that you are the expert on you.

Outside of my practice, you'll often find me exploring my love for fantasy, magic, and all things witchy and whimsical.

I love diving into a captivating TV show or anime, gaming, unwinding with a good fantasy book or playing with my two cats (Calcifer and Kilala).

I also find connecting with my family and friends brings joy and balance to my life. When I'm out and about in Calgary, I really enjoy thrifting for unique finds (yes, I love & collect VHS tapes), supporting our vibrant local markets, and checking out community events.
