Jennifer Giffin (They/She), Registered Counselling Therapist - Candidate
Gathering Glimmers Counselling Services
Jennifer (they/she) is a white, queer settler in Mi'kma'ki who draws from lived experience with chronic illness and pain, post-traumatic stress injuries, medical trauma and their loss of their baby in their warm, affirming and non-pathologizing approach to counselling therapy. A blend of existential, humanistic, and somatic therapeutic modalities tailored to you will help us journey together toward how you want to feel, where you want to gain clarity or live in a way more attuned to your values. Jen has additional training in Trauma-Informed Stabilization Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative and Somatic Approaches to Grief and Loss (all completed in 2025).
Jen welcomes teens, adults and couples seeking support for grief and loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions, infertility, trauma, chronic illness, or other challenges that come with being human. They are committed to providing a trauma-informed and respectful space for all people, inclusive of diverse identities, relationships, and lived experiences. They offer virtual and in-person sessions and cannot wait to meet you!
