Alyssa Davies (She/her), Graduate Intern Therapist

Heart Body Mind Psychological and Assessment Services

Hi, I’m Alyssa (she/her), a counselling intern passionate about helping people navigate the emotional layers of their lives, especially when it comes to relationships, identity, and money. I came to this field after over a decade of working in financial education, where I saw just how deeply our self-worth, stress, and stories are tied to money and connection.

I believe therapy should feel like a safe space to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and gently explore what’s getting in the way. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of your next step, we’ll work together to build clarity, confidence, and self-trust, at your pace.

I love holding space for individuals and couples who are ready to have real, honest conversations and deepen their connection to themselves and each other.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, life transitions, financial stress, and relationship challenges. I have a particular interest in the emotional side of money—how finances intersect with self-worth, communication, and connection.

My work is especially focused on Individual Adults, Couples and individuals exploring relationship dynamics, Women and mothers, Clients navigating identity, boundaries, and self-trust, Financial anxiety and intergenerational money patterns

Additional Services

In addition to one-on-one and couples therapy, I offer workshops, speaking engagements, and consulting services focused on financial psychology and personal finance education. I specialize in helping people explore the emotional side of money, whether through group experiences, educational events, or collaborative projects.

If you're looking for support around money mindset, financial wellbeing, or building healthier financial habits (personally or within your organization), I’d love to connect.

Personal Interests:

Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me on a soccer field, swinging a golf club, or playing any sport that lets me compete just enough to still be fun. I also love anything creative: writing, design, music, or turning a Pinterest idea into a full-blown project (successfully or not).

Fun facts:

- I once created a financial education platform just for fun, and it turned into my full-time job.

- I love a good spreadsheet and a good tarot card pull.

- I firmly believe in weekday matinees, coffee walks, and that laughter belongs in therapy.
