Maureen Killani (She/her), Graduate Intern Therapist
Heart Body Mind Psychological and Assessment Services
Welcome—I’m Maureen Killani, a dedicated therapist-in-training with a passion for helping you move toward your best self. Grounded in humanistic, client-centered principles and enriched by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I draw on both evidence-based techniques and genuine empathy to guide our work together.
With years of personal and professional experience navigating life’s many transitions—balancing school, work, family, and cultural identity—I understand how overwhelming it can feel when roles collide and stress takes over. I’ve been there, and I know that asking for help isn’t about being “fixed,” but about partnering to identify your goals, explore what’s holding you back, and build practical steps to create lasting change.
In our sessions, you lead the way. We’ll collaborate to understand your unique story, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and cultivate new coping strategies—always at your pace. My role isn’t to “fix” you; it’s to hold space, offer tools, and celebrate progress as you define and achieve your own goals. If you’re ready for a supportive, empathetic space to grow and thrive, I’m here to walk alongside you.
