Noor Hadad (She/Her), Graduate Intern Therapist
Heal With Me Psychology
Hi, I’m Noor (she/her), a student therapist at Riverwest Therapy Collective and a Master of Science student in Counselling Psychology at the University of Calgary.
I believe therapy can be a space where all parts of you are welcome. My approach is relational, affirming, and trauma-informed, and I aim to co-create a space where your authenticity and the wisdom you already carry are honoured. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and compassionate presence that meets you where you are at, without stigma or judgment.
I bring a social justice and harm reduction lens to therapy, with attention to how culture, community, and systems of power shape our experiences. My own journey with migration, queerness, and neurodiversity deepens my respect for the courage it takes to be authentic in the therapy space, and grounds my belief that healing happens in connection with ourselves, with others, and within community.
In our work together, I use approaches that support both mind and body, while also making space for the stories and experiences that shape who you are. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (parts work), and Narrative Therapy, while also integrating Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, Indigenous Focusing-Oriented Therapy, and embodied, somatic, and land-based practices. Across all of these, my focus is always on centering your voice and choosing what feels most supportive for you.

Personal Interests:
Outside of therapy, I spend much of my time with music; whether I am making playlists, dancing in my room, or taking in the energy of live shows and festivals. I also love connecting with friends over lattes that are probably too expensive and going for walks by the river at sunset. When I want to unwind, you’ll usually find me watching psychological thrillers or reality tv shows, thrifting for clothes, or adding to my Sanrio collection (Kuromi is my favorite!).
