Heal With Me Psychology

Hi, I’m Dallas (he/him/they), a student therapist at Riverwest Therapy Collective. I am dedicated to creating a space where you can feel safe enough to be curious, honest, and fully yourself. My background—growing up in a high-control environment—has taught me both the pain of restriction and the potential for healing. This experience inspired me to walk alongside people as they untangle old stories, connect more deeply with their bodies, and rediscover what brings them joy.

I have worked in various community-based and supportive roles, which have demonstrated the importance of meeting people where they are. My academic training in theology and spirituality enables me to engage with clients’ questions of belief, doubt, and meaning in a grounded and non-dogmatic manner. I help integrate these dimensions into therapy when it feels supportive.

In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and steady presence. I draw from approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed stabilization. I also incorporate embodiment, land-based practices, and spiritually integrated therapy when they feel meaningful to you. I love this work because I get to witness people reclaim their voices, build self-trust, and discover a sense of belonging within themselves and their world.

Therapy

Anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, burnout, life transitions, neurodivergence, and spiritual or existential questions. 2SLGBTQIA+, Navigating high-control environments, Identity-shaping systems

I am passionate about creating space for boys and men to deepen their emotional awareness and self-expression, grounding my approach in decolonial, feminist, and anti-oppressive values.

In addition to my therapy training, I have years of experience in community work, education, and supportive care roles. My academic background in theology and spirituality provides me with a unique perspective to support clients exploring issues of identity, belonging, and meaning, regardless of their religious or spiritual beliefs.

Personal Interests:

Outside of therapy, you can usually find me on a trail, with my nose in a book, or analyzing the themes of horror films—even the gory ones! I love music and often find myself dancing around my apartment, even if my moves aren’t always perfect. I'm also a proud cat dad and enjoy planning new tattoos that capture what matters most to me. Spending time in nature, connecting with animals, and finding small moments of creativity help keep me grounded and playful.
