Nikki Harris (She/Her), Registered Provisional Psychologist

Heal With Me Psychology

Hi, I'm Nikki! I'm a Registered Provisional Psychologist.

I genuinely love connecting with people and feel deeply honoured to do this work. My path into counselling was shaped by a desire to offer the kind of support I once needed myself. I believe healing happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and empowered, and it’s a privilege to hold space for your story and your process. My work is informed by both clinical training and lived experience, allowing me to meet clients with authenticity, compassion, and deep understanding. I’m committed to providing inclusive, accessible care for people from all walks of life.

I work with a wide range of concerns, with particular focus on anxiety and anxiety-related disorders (including OCD, panic disorder, and social anxiety), trauma, grief and loss, addictions, self-harm, and relationship challenges. I take a holistic, integrative approach, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. I’m also passionate about the healing connection between humans and animals and am currently working toward certification to offer equine-assisted therapy sessions (stay tuned for this option!)

I would be honoured to walk alongside you wherever you are on your journey, supporting you in moving toward healing, alignment, and the goals that matter most to you. "The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are" - Carl Jung

Personal Interests:

Outside of my work as a therapist, I find a lot of joy in music and dancing, especially when shared in community spaces like music festivals. I’m a lifelong gamer and love connecting over video games. Time spent in nature is one of my most important ways to recharge. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, with horses and cats holding a particularly special place in my heart.

I spent many years competing in show jumping, where my connection with horses became a powerful source of healing during some very difficult periods in my life. Discovering equine-assisted therapy felt like a natural extension of that experience, and it’s why I chose to pursue this specialization—to offer others the same sense of connection and healing I found through horses.

I share my life with two beloved cats, Kovu and Mushu, and my wonderful fiancé, and after navigating complex health challenges with my kitties, I’ve developed a strong passion for proper feline nutrition and care. I also love all things fantasy, from books to television and film. I have gotten into 90s JDM cars and drive a 1991 Toyota MR2 that I love very much, cruising is so therapeutic. Finally, I’ve been fascinated by the paranormal for as long as I can remember and recently created a paranormal investigation team—an interest that continues to inspire curiosity and wonder in my life.
